The internet, on fair and equal terms
A feed used to be a list of things you’d asked for. Then it became a guess at what would keep you staring longest. Then the people doing the guessing got rich enough to fire themselves into space, though sadly never for long. Then came towering waves of AI slop.
At this point, the dear old list started looking pretty good again. Following real people who can answer for what they post? It’s radical.
At all.haus, we’ve gone back to that.
all.haus is a free reader for the open web. It gathers the people and publications you follow – on Bluesky, Mastodon and the wider fediverse, on Nostr, on Substack, on YouTube, podcasts and email newsletters, really anything with an RSS feed – and shows you what they posted, in the order they posted it, without trying to rinse your last drop of dopamine.
The whole open social web on one screen
No more hopping back and forth between different networks. Let everything come to you.
Unlimited channels, organised however you like
Put news in one, friends in another, this week’s niche research project in a third. Give each one its own colour scheme, like boats in a regatta. Someone getting on your nerves but you don’t want to unfollow them completely? Nudge their volume knob until they blend into the background.
Nothing is ranked, promoted or slipped in
No one can pay all.haus for access to your attention. If a post appears in your channels, it’s because you follow someone who put it there. Take it up with them!
